Wife has them, does this all the time, with paper towels.
Maybe try it with a piece of Tshirt?

I did a paper-towel once and it really screwed 'em up...
This was several years ago, might be different today. I'm real careful about what I wipe my lenses with...

RSDF Sounds like a good idea. But, I've got to think that it also depends on what type of lenses you have.
If you've got glass lenses, I wouldn't hesitate.
But, you know what a paper towel is gonna do to plastic lenses? Didn't seem to hurt mine. Really shined em up last nite w/ Pledge and the paper towel. Think I will use cotton rags from now on though......

She got products from them all the time. I used to use a "Spa Polish" (Which was silicon-based and contained no wax) on my truck all the time. That sucker shined like brand new...

The orange scented Pledge can I have states on the can No Wax.. It does seem to shine up the paint though as well. Its a good thing, too much wax can build up over time.

Lemon Pledge is the ONLY wax I've used since the last time I had my bike painted (about 4 or 5 years ago) It does a great job!
Lots cheaper than any of the "Auto" waxes on the market. Paula normally picks it up at the 99-cent store...
Windex does a great job cleanin' up chrome too. Learned that when I was a kid with chrome wheels on my cars. If ya wanna use a polish on the chrome after that, go for it. I don't...

And, if you spray it in the joints of your footpegs, you will not get that rust from vibration. Don't get it on the rubber part, it makes it slippery, but it works better than oil or grease, as it does not collect sand and dust.

Thats right good ole fashioned lemon or orange scent Pledge furniture polish works great- leaves high gloss shine, especially for fairings, and fiberglass bags... Even cleans off bugs on the windshield,ect.. Friend of mine told me about it. Its cheap too.
