changed the oil and filter in the bike today for the winter , we havent had to many days without rain so i was able to get er out and warmed up for a change.

got back from 3 days at the camper on lake erie nice pot luck at the camp grounds yst . probably gained 5 lbs from all the food they had .

Everyone one must be out vacationing, traveling, ridin' Harleys Davidsons, and boating..... Git r done! Have fun you all!  I think rain is gonna mess up our days activitys' though - 70% chance of it - wanting to send it all your way Empty. Lord knows you need it down there....

| Ya, everybody pretty busy this time of year. Weather has been great up here so we been riding a lot. Packing up for the ride to Sturgis, looking at getting outta here Saturday morning if al goes well. Just finished installing a trailer hitch on my RoadGlide, gonna pull a little trailer down this year, rather than ship our stuff down to the campground ahead of time. Hoping to get a visit in with Babe and Mikey on the way down. Should be a good trip.

Not much activity these days..... Did see Steve, Marc and Weasle on today though. Dog days of Summer around our little spred.
Mostly Just been trying to get my boat to run right after switching to electronic ignition... Bout ready to take it out in the river and just pull the drain plug.

INstead of putting a new set of points in it last week- kinda wish I'd just spend another $25. and put electronic ignition in the distributor, mines got a malllory distribultor... Looks like an easy conversion. May of had to get a 1.5 amp hotter coil though too.... http://www.hot-spark.com/1-3MAL8U1.htm

| I been trying to get my boat to run right in my spare time. Got it running good on the trailer finally. Now if it will just run on the water like it should... May take it out today for a test run...

| WIfe and I rode over to my cousins' farm in KY Saturday evening. He roasted a 300 pound Hog. Had a couple guys playin' guitars and singin' songs.... Was a nice evening. Wish you guys coulda been there... They have horse's, cows, and a cuple mules, and even an orphan Deer Fawn. Walked up to their barn, and watched it get bottle fed..... Pretty cool!

| i been lookin in when im home, went to detroit to motor city casino tues& wed, free rooms ?? going to the lake today for the weekend . damned retirement is tough i still haven,t had time to take a vacation .
