Good old Jeff Dunham...LMAO! He's got a series of his own now on Comedy Central. Looks pretty good...
Bikes in NASCAR?
Just like Tom Hanks said in that movie "A League of Their Own" about there ain't no cryin' in baseball, there ain't no bikes in NASCAR...

I'm not really much of a nascar fan, though I don't mind sitting down to watch a race. The real issue is that it sucks 15 hours out of a day to go watch a 3 hour race. I'll be home smoking briskets in order to make freezer space for all the elk that is headed down here next month.

Just lookin' at the stats for the top 5 in the "Chase".
Jimmie Johnson -Leader
Mark Martin -184
Jeff Gordon -192
Juan Montoya -239
Tony Stewart -279
IMO, with only 3 races to go, I don't see much of a shot left for Motoya or Stewart.
Even Martin is gonna have a rough time picking up enough points to knock Johnson out.
Gordon same deal.
Johnson is gonna really have to screw up to lose this thing....

There was a couple big wrecks at the end of that race wadn't there Dave ? Yeah, it was pretty wild starting about 20 laps left. Until then, mostly a "Sunday Ride".
Every driver mentioned being afraid of the new rules laid down by NASCAR and getting sanctioned. No bump-drafting in the turns, and "aggressive driving". Made it a pretty dull race. Until the end...
It took a long time for them to get Ryan Nueman out of his car. I mean, the race was red-flagged for at least 5 minutes before they managed to get the roof off and he stood up and walked to the ambulance. I don't know how many times his car flipped and somersaulted...
Then, I think it was the last lap when Mark Martin got flipped too. But, at least he landed on his wheels. Sorta seemed like he was still trying to drive it over the finish line too!
But, with that kind of racing, they didn't need to go 500 miles. They could've done it like a Saturday Night Heat-Race, maybe 50 miles. Saved a bunch of time...

What a lousy race today...
NASCAR came out with a new rule about bump-drafting. So, they're all basically in single file just doing laps. Someone did finally go a lap down... *YAWN*
Even Johnson was complaining about running at half-throttle and he's way back in 30th place right now...

Yeah, I don't remember what the air temp was that day. Seems like it was warm though...
I remember a lot of those kind of days in the pits. Only shade we had was what we brought with us. Would drink a gallon of water and not need to piss. Sweat it out...

No question about that Jeff...
When we were pitting with a friend that ran a super-late model, he was bitchin' about the heat in the car. We shot it with an infra-red themometer about 7:00 PM after he came in from a 40 lap run, it was 140F inside the car...
No idea how hot the floor-boards were!

I googled it and there was nothing talking about the overall condition of the rider. Said that they couldn't contact the rider either...
