I've been thinkin' for awhile that he was gonna pick up Newman for his team. Newman's contract is over at the end of this season. Both are from Indiana too. Newman is pretty decent driver...
Actually,  I haven't been following Nascar this yr very closely..    I used to religiously,   but my TV programming doesn't get much Nascar now.  I need a new program package.. LOL~!

Newman makes it official, will drive for Stewart-Haas

THIS IS COOL,   Stewart, who announced in July he was leaving Gibbs for his new team, will use childhood hero A.J. Foyt's No. 14 on his new Chevrolet. That car will be sponsored by Office Depot and Old Spice.

I know what you mean...
Between the "diamond cut" on the track and the soft tires. 10-15 laps between cautions was a bit much. One of the announcers said something about it being like a series of "Heat Races"

I thought it was just a bad deal all the way around...

Anybody else think yesterdays race was boring?  All those competition yellows.  Hell after the first couple the crews knew the tire wear.  The should have let them race and make thier own calls.
