I'd run down to Miami and find one of them Cuban Voodoo ladies and let her kill a couple of chickens over it and banish the evil spirits.
Good luck, meanwhile we will all wait for the next installment. Heck maybe we should get a pool going - I have 8 days and the rearend.

I beginning to think this car is haunted.....LOL ....Plus this car was made in the USA it has the Union label right in the door jam.
Dave I couldn't have afforded to have anybody else tow this damn car in....it's logged more miles riding on my truck that it has on its own wheels.....
I'm so buried in this car now I couldn't sell it if I wanted to. I've more than doubled what I paid for the car just in parts. Thank God I did all the work myself, I couldn't imagine what the Toyota dealer would have charged for all the work I had done
The guy at the Toyota parts counter knows my voice now and just laughs at me when I ask him "how much"............................

Gas is only about $4.00 a gallon, between that and a match, you could be trouble-free for under $5.00...
Just kiddin' Steve...
That sucks. Probably could've gone through the old Buick for less $$ and effort than you have into that Toyota.
Went through nightmares with my Nissan for over a year thanks to a bad alternator and a shitty store that I bought it from.
As far as I know, that little truck is still tickin' away in Nor Cal...
Hope this is the end of the problems you're having with it...
BTW - Look at the bright side...
Ya don't have to pay for towing!

My oldest daughters 98 Buick died a couple of months back and with 188K on the clock I figure it wasn't worth fixing. So being in the used car business I came across a 2002 Toyota Camary that the dealer had taken in trade and was wholesaling off. I buy from this dealership all the time and this little car was in pretty good shape with only 63K on it. It just needed some paint work on the bumpers to look 100%. Your typical old lady trade in car. So I loaded up the car and took it over to the shop, had the paint work done and then I went through it to make sure it was safe. New brakes, tires, flushed the trans and radiator. Got the tag from the old Buick transferedbto the Camary and gave the car to my daughter...........
Then the nightmare began, 3 days later I got the call from her shes broke down, I jump in the roll back and towed her back to the shop. The car had over heated and blown both head gaskets on the little V6. So I tear the motor down and send the heads off to the machine shop to be checked and resurfaced. Machine shop calls me and says both heads are cracked and not repairable. So I order remanufactured heads, before I put the heads on I pulled the water pump while I have easy access and find that the blades on the impeller are rotted away, ok thats why the bitch over heated, new water pump......damn Toyota's proud of that pump......well the pump rotted away I better check the radiator......bottom half of the radiator plugged up solid.......order new radiator.....Holy S**T does Harley make this???? man that was pricey ..........So all the parts come in and I put the car back together and I drive it to work a couple of days to make sure its all good. No problems so I give the car back to my daughter...shes happy and the OL is happy because she gets her car back...................5 days go by and another call....come tow me in.... cars dead on the side of the road. get it back to the shop..... altenator has melted down, fried the battery.......New altenator , new battery........damn another pricey Toyota part..........
Alls good for another 7 days and the call comes again......Cars broke down Dad transmission won't shift. Towed back in to the shop. Check the trans completely and find the computer is not talking to the trans electronics.......order a new ECM for the Toyota...........Holy S**T ........are they kidding me that ECM can't cost that much.......can't find a used one anywhere....so I submit to the Toyota barrons once more.........
The car is back on the road for another 8 days when I get the call yesterday that it won't turn left. Tow the F**ken thing back in and the steering rack has blown the seals out of it and its stuck solid and won't move. Order new steering rack......OMG $713.00....???? ...........
The part comes in to today and I'll install it tonight. This Toyota has just been a nightmare. Hopefully this will be the last of issues.
I can't take anymore crying phone calls for the daughter and the OL..................
