Well, since I had my taxes done for me, and I deducted "Tax Preparation Fees", I'll get a check mid-June...
Dave wrote: everyone that filed taxes last year and made less than (I think) $150K will get something...Maybe thats why ours was only $600.??    We didn't make all that much last year...... But I was under the impression that as long as we filed jointly and were married we'd receive $1200.    I'm calling Uncle Sam Monday morning about it,,, LOL!

Nope... Not supposed to be taxable. This is supposed to be a true rebate...

Notice that I used the term "Supposed"...LOL

Hope it don't get taxed. I know that a couple of years ago, those with kids got some sort of money from the IRS and had to pay taxes on it. My kids were too old and I didn't get anything on that one. That one was a loan sorta...

Basically Steve, everyone that filed taxes last year and made less than (I think) $150K will get something...

No other forms to fill out. Your 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ is all it takes...

We file Joint, and did it with direct deposit. We're SUPPOSED to have gotten it yesterday, according to their chart. Didn't happen. Just checked the checking account and nothing was added, nothing pending...
