| There were a few months when it was up to 48.5-Cents a mile too. But, I guess it averages out to 40.5-cents for the year...

Does the same there here Jeff. But, to be completely honest, I don't even pay attention. Shit, I gotta have it to get to work and back. I think I'm payin' somewhere around $2.70 a gallon for 91 octane.
Did get an email sayin' that the were raisin' the government travel rate to 48.5 cents a mile. Was up that high earlier this year when gas was over $3.00 a gallon...

| dont know about your area , but most staions here in ohio are owned by the oil companys or their subsidaries. very few independent stations here.

| Jackin' it up for the holidays now, figures. Jumped a dime here today. $2.25 for regular. At least its not $3.25 like back in the Summer. Wonder how long gas will stay under $3.00 a gal ?

I think I've been payin' about $2.55 - $2.60 a gallon for 91 octane...
OL mentioned something about $2.35 or $2.40 a gallon for 87 octane. Don't really pay attention (both, OL and gas prices, LOL) Gotta have it to get anywhere here in So Cal...
