We had a great week of nice weather for the first of Feb. Got to ride my new old scoot some to shaker down a bit. The fuel guage is not working right.. Actually ran out of gas with the guage showing 1/2 tank. Filled up last nite and it didn't rise. Also oil pressure guage has an electrical problem. Runs great though!I never could trust the fuel gage on mine Jeff. Figured on a fill-up every 115 - 125 miles with the 4.2 gallon tank., kept me out of the reserve. You can prolly go a little further. You got 5-gallon tanks right?Yeh, I just don't know how it is yet on mileage.  I always did w/ my other bikes like you guys said to, and just reset my trip meter to 0 each time I fill up - then I'll know about far a tank will go after a time or 2.   Still I'd like to have the guage fixed though, lol!   Especially since the Indy agreed to fix it for free along w/ my oil pressure guage.

Has been a rainy but mild weekend here...  Switched out a defective new shock on my Jeep yesturday that had a life time warranty.  The clattering noise seems to be gone from the rear end now.   Just one more day closer to Spring...

Man has it ever been nice spring weather around here. Been cutting and splitting wood then recover for a day:P. Put up one of those precut metal buildings (what a pain in the ass) then recover for a day:P.  Decided to get the garden ready so got the tiller out yesterday:P

Finally got a good rain last night. Sure needed that. I think spring is over.:D

Got back from a nice 440 mile ride down thru Ky and the LBL. Kinda dodged rain shower all day but only got spinkled on couple times. Wife was bundles up like a bear but stayed warm, she gets cold easy. Couldn't get anyshere close to bridge that collasped that had put up metal gates on ramps and ahad troppers sitting at barracaids on the main hwy. Ended up being a nice ride, water at cave in rock was pretty high but ferry was still running.
