I remember a Bill Cosby stand up routine from the 70's where he was supposedly in Moses' place talking to the allmighty, whereas the allmighty answered the question 'why?' with "How long can you tread water?"

Be careful up there, water can do some nasty things.

Yeah..we are keeping our eyes open. We have had springs popping up all over the property..The water table is extremely high this year. Crops arre taking a beating..the ones that got in anyways. The river is not all that far from us..but we are on higher ground.
I couldn't believe the floods in Iowa on the news today and killer tornado's... the weather has gone haywire.    Speaking of crops there is very little planted here as well.   Gonna be a shortage of corn, wheat and beans if this keeps up!

They had a segment on the news yesterday about weather related deaths...Heat is by far and away the biggest weather related killer...It is also the most preventable...We just do not think about it...

Damn, what's goin' on with the weather back there this year?

Worried about my kids too, Missouri has had its share. Got family in Nebraska and Iowa too that have me concerned.

Wish this shit would settle down and give ya'all some decent weather...

92 yesturday, 95 today... Was just readin' about the flooding in Indiana and wonderin' if you got caught up in any of that... Don't sound like ya did...Thank God...

Weather here was great yesterday! OL and I saddled up and rode a tank and then some out of the bike. Gotta make up for it today with a trip to Home Depot and "Honee-Doos".

Oh well...

:(
Actually,   we did have some flooding here a few days ago Dave..   A guy I know who I have his home listed for sale,   told me Saturday morning that the creek came up ( flash flood) on Thurs and actually washed his 800 pound big Suzuki dresser down the street and under the water..:shock:    He thinks it totalled it,   but he did have full coverage Ins....  So he is gonna get another bike out of the loss..  We rode on a benefit run for the local Humane Society on Saturday was pretty fun!
