| LOL ,JOB ,yea it will , the freezing and thawing is what makes the sap in a maple tree flow . it wont flow when its below 32 degrees , into the pail , but it is still flowing inside the tree, when it gets above 32 a lot of it runs into the pail. the hole or tap is small enough , that it wont allow enough sap flow to kill the tree. probably more than ya ever wanted to know about a tree right ? LOL
