Nice comment Dave....jeeze. I can assure you Mike never squats!

Then I'm guessin' that he either waits until things are thawed out or pisses all over the seat and himself...LOL...

Gotta remember, cold makes things contract...

What's the temp with a wind-chill of 80 mph and an ambient of 35 degrees?
16 degrees

Nice comment Dave....jeeze.  I can assure you Mike never squats!

Problem here is even tho it is 40 or 50.....there is still alot of ice on the roads in spots, especially in the early morning hours!    When it actually melts there is quite a bit of flooding in our area, and sometimes alot of water on the roads.  This morning....even tho the sun is shining, and its supposed to get warm.....there were two accidents becuase of ice.

Let's not mention having to listen to ole Mikey bitching all the way to work about county trucks dumping salt again!  We passed one this morning(right after Mike said he should have rode in) and he was dumping so much damn salt....its sprayed our windshield as we went by.......Oh to really hear Mikey......omg!    Last fall they had a problem with a truck, and as it went up the hill near our house.....it dumped ALL the salt out, they had to shovel it off the road!  I am still hearing Mike holler, and probably will for years....lol

Winter Storm Expected To Arrive Friday
Temperatures Drop Thursday, Cold Snap Continues Into Weekend

LOS ANGELES -- A storm expected to reach the Southland Friday morning might bring cold temperatures, up to an inch of rain in the Los Angeles basin and up to 18 inches of snow in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

The approaching storm also could produce small hail, ice pellets, waterspouts, 40-mph wind gusts in some areas and a slight chance of thunderstorms, the NWS reported.

The cold air will flow south from Alaska and western Canada over the weekend and bring unseasonably cool weather to the area through at least Monday.

The NWS projected that the most widespread and heaviest shower activity will occur Friday afternoon through Saturday.

"Mainly, all of the moisture will be falling Friday afternoon through late Saturday," said NWS meteorologist Jamie Smith.

Rainfall amounts from Friday through Sunday were generally expected to range between 1/2 inch and 1 inch across coastal and valley locations, with up to 2 inches possible in the foothills and mountains. (Wonderful...)

Snow levels were generally expected to range between 2,500 and 3,500 feet, with some areas falling down to 1,500 feet, the NWS reported.

The expectation of a snow level of 1,500 feet means there could be a disruptive accumulation of snow on Interstate 5 near the Grapevine and on state Route 14 through Soledad Canyon, according to the NWS. (I'm somewhere between 1000 and 1500 ft...)

Most local mountain areas are expected to get at least a dusting.

High temperatures will not reach 60 degrees and overnight lows will drop into the 40s -- and upper 30s Sunday night, Smith said, compared to average highs near 70 and average lows near 60.

"It's getting a little nippy," Smith said. (Hey, this is So Cal... We're not used to it being down in the 30s too often. It's big news here...)

Downtown Los Angeles has had about 7 3/4 inches of rain since July 1, which is about half the average for this time of year. But the Southland is far from being in drought conditions because the area received near-record rainfall last year, Smith said.
