Holy crap! Weather here is fantastic this morning!!!
"Santa Ana Winds" are blowin' this morning. Only about 53F out there. But, the wind is coming in off the desert, dry and warm. Ridin' in this morning, doin' about 75 or 80 mph, the bike just "disappeared" out from under me and it was like I was floatin' in space. One hand on the throttle, one in my lap...
Damn, it don't get much better than that!!!
For a few brief moments, all was right in the world...
Oh, it supposed to be 83F here today...

| Yeah, I hate the first rain of the year here. Rain brings up all the oil and makes for some "interesting" moments...

Ridin' in rain or ridin' in fog... Slow drizzling rain and 64 degrees this morning, after the back tire did a little slip -n- slide in the alley I parked it and took the truck.

Babe - I never used a recipe before either.
The one that I posted, is a general "guide-line" more than anything else. Someplace to start. I got that one from my son about a year ago and have made it a few times and never used the same exact ingrediants.
The nice thing about it, is that you can spice it up or down based on your preferences. Can also add other spices and ingrediants. Even use different meat, beans, etc.
Just waiting on the weather to cool off enough here to start making it again. It's been in the mid- to upper-80s for over a week now. Yesterday was almost 90...

That front is suppossed to be here tomorrow night. I still have my A/C on. It was 85 today....I will turn it off tomorrow, I probably wont turn the heat on till it gets to 40 and stays for a day or two.

In chile?
I'll have to give you the recipe I use for home-made chile. Gotta nice bite to it and a pretty good taste. Pretty easy to make. Not sure how easy it might be to get all the ingrediants there.
But, you probably have a decent sized Mexican population there locally. So, it shouldn't be a big deal... guess its more of a hobo chillie than anything , everyone puts what ever they bring in it , and bobby just cooks it up . dont have many mexicans around here , some migrant workers in the summer is all , dont know where where i might get the ingrediants you mentioned.

I dunno about that....chili wouldnt be chili without beans for me. I make chili alot......but I have never used a recipe b4....LOL ANd if I had to tell someone how I make it....I dunno.......ya make it.....then ya taste it, and see what else needs to be added! LOL I dunno if I have ever followed a recipe to the T before. I thought the 'no beans' thing was nuts when I first moved down here, look in the supporters area for the recipe that won the 2004 Terlingua chili cook off. I have been told it is the cook off of cook offs. ...they got nothing else there.
