I doubt if LA hit 116 Jeff. I think that was in a part of the county that is considered "High-Desert" or that was out in Riverside or San Bernadino County, like Palm Springs or maybe Death Valley.

If I'm not mistaken, someone here has family in San Fernando Valley, that area got pretty warm too. Something like 111...

It was HOT though yesterday. The extended the forcast and say it supposed to be exactly like it again today. Just glad that I'm going to a party tonight down near the beach (Costa Mesa) and its about 20 degrees cooler there than it is here.

Oh, and THANK GOD I HAVE THAT NEW HVAC SYSTEM!!!!
