| 80 and beautiful...Just got back from a 200+ mile run into NY and PA...Came across a real bad motorcycle accident on the back roads in NY...Two crotch rockets...Did not look good at all...

I doubt if LA hit 116 Jeff. I think that was in a part of the county that is considered "High-Desert" or that was out in Riverside or San Bernadino County, like Palm Springs or maybe Death Valley.
If I'm not mistaken, someone here has family in San Fernando Valley, that area got pretty warm too. Something like 111...
It was HOT though yesterday. The extended the forcast and say it supposed to be exactly like it again today. Just glad that I'm going to a party tonight down near the beach (Costa Mesa) and its about 20 degrees cooler there than it is here.
Oh, and THANK GOD I HAVE THAT NEW HVAC SYSTEM!!!!

Good ole summer time.... I think yesturday was the official 1st day of the season.
Dave, I seen on the news last nite LA was like 116 record heat near there right?
