Sounds about right Dave... We simply use the Kelly blue book at the dealership retail value for bikes were selling.   Scroll down to mtorcycles on http://www.kbb.com  and see what its worth..   You could probably ask a couple hundred more do to the very low miles.   Whats the ole saying.  You can always go down, but you can't go back up :DTrade-in value is $2050.00 and Retail value is $2995.00,

But, that's with an expected mileage of 7000 per year...

I figure I should be able to do somewhere in between...

Got that Kaw up for sale yet Dave ?    Bring it over to my work place..  We only charge 10% for selling bikes.... ;)   Actually we have 2 just like it for sale now.  One's an '07 with 2300 miles for $3299.  The other is an '08 asking $3499..  Both are Black.Nope. I haven't taken the time to do anything with it Jeff. I been lazy...

But, I have been wonderin' what I can get for that Kawi. Since your dealership is askin' that much for an '07 with 2300 miles on it, I guess I can start around $3500.00 since its also an '07 an' its got 590 miles on it...

I would think w/ those low miles you should be able to sell that Kaw 500 pretty quickly Dave..The used Rebels usually sell pretty fast at our Honda dealership if priced right. Same with the used VLX 600 Shadows... Honda quit making them in 2007. Only thing I never liked about the 600 was only having a 4 speed tranny. My son rode a '97 600 shadow for yrs before acquiring his new Wide Glide last yr.

Hey Marc, rode similar branded as a "Taco" mini-bike. Same engine...

Lytle's, bought my OL a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 for Christmas in 2007. I think she might have put 100 miles on it. Didn't like the way it rode. Buddy had it for couple years, got just under 600 miles on it now (590) bought it brand new, looks like I'll be selling it in just about the same condition....

well the one boy didn't like the bike I got him, so sold it for 1900.00. It was a 2008 rebel with windshield. Now the other one that I got a rebel for wants to sell his too! I told him, I bought it for ya now ya can do what ya want, but I ain't buying another for ya. Next bike bought is gonna be for me. They both wanted bigger bikes even though they have never riden anything, told them they were good starter bikes and needed to ride them for couple years to learn on. But then the old man doesn't know anything according to them, I've only been riding since I was 12. started out on homemade mini for riding cross country. Any way got another 2008 Rebel with less than 600 miles for sale at 2K.  The one I bought a Shadow 600VLX for wants to keep his if he ever gets his license back and the other ithe KTM 640 Duke likes it but might be thinking of letting go, dealer down at Carbondale was trying to trade a 4 wheeler for it but I told him what ya gonna ride on the road then.  Of course that didn't set well with him either, beginnig to wish I had never got any of them bikes. The one with the KTM only wants to play in mud and tear up equipment. OK enough ranting.
