I sold it by word of mouth in early May to a 1%er from Arizona. He came down with a couple of his bros in a 66 Chevy pickup that was in mint condition and paid me cash on the spot. Was real happy about what good shape the bike was in and the extra parts that came with it. They hung around the shop for a couple of hours bullshitting and then we all went up to Archies for some beers and burgers.  Decent bunch of guys but I wouldn't want to get on their bad side.....LOL

PS: Some of the local clubs were a little pissed at me for a couple of weeks for letting these guys wear their colors while they were here in Florida. I told them it was none of my business and I couldn't care less who's rockers were on their backs as long as they paid in cash.............LOL

When ya look at the lowest sets of numbers (Indicating least modified) for both engines, they're really not that far apart...

Also, ya gotta remember, those are rear-wheel dyno numbers too...

You have to go to a "Stage 1" to get 64 horsepower...
Same site with the Evo hp chart
http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hplist_evo80.htm
and the Twin Cam hp chart--  The upgrades really effect the HP http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hplist_twin_cam.htm

Well  My Dyna TC is not stock and is bored and stroked to 98". So it's not a fair comparision. I recently repaired a 2004 Lowrider TC88 that was stock and the only noticable difference to me was the TC 88 came out of the hole a little faster. But once up at crusinig speed both responded to throttle input about the same............

BUT the FXR sure does cut thru the twisty's much better.........

BTW I took a deposit on it Monday, the guy said he'll be back on Friday with the rest of the money.............

Sold it for $9200.00

Hey Steve,  gotta question for ya,   How do you feel power wise that is,  when you've rode this '93 FXR compared to the same type bike but with a Twin Cam motor ?  Is there much difference in noticable power between this 80" compared to that of the 88" motor.  Probably not much difference is there ?

Yeah...Just went to the accountant last week and we owe nothing for a change and are getting $$ back.:D

Consignment - My own Steelership charged me 1 month floorspace when they sold my Wide Glide and Jacques Sportster...Bastards...They should have charged me nothing because the 2 were traded in for our Geezer Glide...

Not yet. I've been busy with used cars, it seems as everybody is getting their tax returns and the $3K to $5K car market is really jumping right now.

I'm thinking about taking the bike and putting it on consignment at a bike shop in Daytona to see what it will do there.

Nope, the guy never sent me a deposit like he said, so I figure he doesn't want that bad.

I'm not in any hurry to sell any of the bikes I have right now, the market sucks and I'm not gonna give them away............

But I might work a deal with Dave, just so I could deliver it to California.............LOL

You know I bought my 99 EG on Ebay w/ 30 k miles,  2yrs ago.   I remember the price jumped from $8,000.  to $9,300.  in 8 hrs on the final day of bidding.   They seem to bring pretty good money on Ebay.   Not sure in todays market though....
