Marc......they have the comfort of mom and dad being alive to bail them out....I see it with my brothers and their kids. My parents wouldn't rescue me from anything I got myself into.............they would say "if you knew how to get into this, you can figure out how to get out of it" My parents never wiped my ass into the teens and beyond........today, parents change diapers beyond 30 years old. I come from a different planet..........when I fell down dad would say "get up, be a man" My mom was even tougher......"hey, if ya cry, I will put a diaper on you!" Tough love?? Yes, but I am able to make it in this place. These friggen babyied people in their 20's and 30's need parental resusitation on a daily basis.

Up here every McMansion that is occupied by a 30 something knowitall has: A BMW and Suburban in the driveway, a Harley or fake Jap V Twin, a skiboat, 2 snowmobiles, and trailer with 2 or 4 ATVs next to the garage. Usually they have sheets covering a patio door on the second floor where a deck was supposed to go. Good Ol mom and dad provided the down payment, the toys were all bought on credit and refinance. I would assume the posers will part with the bikes first, as they will save on Nike's by not dragging feet.........since snow is rare here now, being cool on a snowmobile is hard, so that will go next. Then the ATV's...the boats are last to go here, usually the wife goes before the boats, because boats for 30 something knowitall's are floating "chickmagnets" for the Beemer clan.
The house? Mom and Dad are covering son Jimmy's or daughter Sally's mortgage until the divorce is final. What about the BMW? No way....ya have to look rich even though you are a clerk at Best Buy.
That's the kind of thing I'm talking about GOC...
A lot of toys on the market here. Seeing a lot of HD Evo powered bikes under $10k. Twinkies are runnin' quite a bit more. Up in the $15K and up range. Sportster are all over the map. Can't believe some the prices on them. Some seem way over-priced while others seem like a steal... Same with houses here right now, some good deals out here because there are alot of foreclosures in our area too! Can be bought fairly cheap on short sale or foreclosure, sheriffs sales what have ya.. Same with the toys, Harleys, boats people are letting go of them just make ends meet.. Kinda sad really! A buck don't go far these days................. Same thing here...Hope I don't sound insensitive but they will get no sympathy from me at all...Keeping up with the Smith's or what ever...Got to have the latest and greatest what ever...And they buy it on credit, home equity loan...WTF...If you can't afford it...Don't buy it...Don't live beyond your means...I don't know how these people sleep...

Oh, by the way I noticed all the McMansions in my area have several new SUV's parked in the driveway....I investigated this and found that they are "McDorms" now! The Beemer 30 knowitalls are renting rooms to the "Pampered" parents pay everything college related perpetual teenagers. I am serious! Amazing to see.

A Monowheel that is made out of aluminum by the cosummerate professional Kerry McClean. He has been on television lots of times with his verson of a 1890 powered wheel invention. This particular wheel was featured in Cycle World Magazine a few months back when one of their feature editors wanted to ride it. Comes with a shipping crate and riding instructions. Powered by a 5 horsepower Briggs and Stratton, this bike can go 35mph easily. It has brakes which work quite well when you learn how to ride it pretty good. This price is $2,000.00 less than what I paid for it. (949) 413-6333 cell.

You're right, that is a nice bike for the price...
Seem to be a lot of "toys" on the market lately. Wonder if it has anything to do with the mortgage melt-down...

Yep, and they also used them in the early days of automobiles, they would go and pick up your car, and hook the trike to the rear bumper to bring it back. When your service was done, they hooked it back up, delivered your car, and then rode the bike back to the garage.
Don't remember when they started making them, probably in the 30's, maybe before, but the last was 1973. In 71? they started hanging a Ford Alternator in between the front downtubes, as the generator couldnt handle the newer model police lights etc.
Police in Rocky Mount NC had one, nice looking ride, but that alternator was UGLY...lol
