| I remember about 100 years ago, Popular Mechanics did an article on cooking on your engine. But, that was a car engine...

sheesh..young'uns....
EVERYBODY knows if yer gonna cook a steak on yer scooter, ya wrap it in aluminum foil and wire it to yer rear exhaust just behind the tranny...that way, yer legs protects it from the wind so it heats evenly, and when ya get where yer going, it is cooked. If yer a gormett, and want a more than meat and beer meal, ya can wrap taters in foil and stick them between the cylinders to bake while the steaks cookin...but if ya want everything ready at the same time, ya need to do the taters 50 miles before ya put the steak on...
lastly, if yer gonna have a salad with lettuce...wet it real good and tie it to yer handlebars, when ya get where yer going, the lettuce is nice and crisp, and the water softens the bugs on yer face so ya can wipe them off before ya eat, thereby lookin' respectable.
Ain't it amazin' the things greybeards know?

RSDF Well, I don't think I'd wanna have the drippin' runnin' all over the place.
But, I'm pretty sure I could get a decent sized steak on the front cylinder head...

RSDF Bragger!! LOL! Here's a picture I took of a primary in Sturgis a couple years ago, looks like it might be handy during deer season as a meat grinder.

There are a couple of those Spyders in town here, old guys riding them all over the place. Think they're starting a new club or something. BTW Preacher, isn't that belt drive kinda dangerous, and how far can u ride a hardtail anyway? LOL

Yeah, I do. That way I dont have to put up with posers and weekend warriors on their billet barge chrome abominations. I don't have to keep answering the same stupid questions, i.e.,
is that a knucklehead?
you can't ride that rigid very far, can you?
isn't that belt drive dangerous?
bet it's fun when that open belt grabs your pantsleg, huh?
how far can you go on the little gastank?
why don't you chrome this that or the other?
and lastly, and certainly not least:
"don't you think you ought to trade that antique in and get a real bike?"
THATS WHY I HANG OUT AT A JAPANESE DEALERSHIP!!!
there, the questions I get are "how ya doin' Preacher?
"what have ya done to Grunt this week?"
"ya wanna ride down to Wake Forest and go to Arby's?" (about 25 miles, more than the posers ride in month)
"I heard you are going up north...you goin' on Grunt?"
"nice bike"
"Preacher, you think I can put those kinda bars on my Vulcan?"
now you know.
RSDF
p.s., I went to the dealer today to see if a spacer I ordered came in...they had a rack of on sale leathers.
EXACTLY the same jacket I wear, except mine don't have Harley Davidson stamped all over it...marked DOWN to 335.95...I paid 113.87 shipped...
Gee, I cannot IMAGINE why I dont hang out there with THEM kinda deals...more than I make in a flippin week for a leather...what are they NUTS? or STUPID?
lol
ok, rant over, you started it JOB...lol

| I don't know, I didn't call. On the other hand, I noticed it is a female seller and the bike has low miles on it ....could be a divorcee or widow for all I know. I know when I lost mine in the war of '89', I later found out she sold it for $3000.

Empty:
It is for real. They sell them at the Japanese dealership I hang out at. Made by Bombadier, handles like a sportscar, fast as heck. I haven't ridden it yet, but I am going to, just to see what it is like. I dont know about pricing, but I think 18k is a bit tall.
