Sorry to be so late, but I am catching up

Once many years ago, I lived in a small rental with no garage so I had one of those scooter covers.  Well pretty late in the evening after a few I decided to go for a putt.  I uncovered the bike and took off.  I got about 3 miles when the cop pulled me over.  I was draggin the freakin cover behind me.  He just laughed and said I knew Harleys were strong, but I never saw one pulling a garage.  Phew, one of the several times I had a close call.  Now I am older, smarter and more careful.  I could never live with myself I killed some one.

Yup, limited myself to only 2 strong bloody marys and a few beers.....LMAO
Ain't Bloody Marys part of the breakfast menu?

Limit myself to 3 beers if I'm away from home and have to drive. Otherwise, no limit if I'm home or not drivin'.

Strong, black coffee only. Starbucks? I don't go near the place...LOL

The bloody marys are to make sure you get your daily vegetable dose.

Coffee?  I like the Seattle's Finest   ...or good ole Dunkin Donuts.

Over the last few years they have put up DWI check points on some of the roads in our area including the back roads...We take turns driving...It's not worth getting caught or hurting some innocent person...

I haven't had a DUI...
Been damned fortunate on that too. Been a few times that I deserved it.

Even got pulled over once when I was so hammered, that I could hardly walk to the back of the car to fail the sobriety test. Cop let me go with a stern warning and said he was gonna follow me back to the gate (This was when I was in the Navy) and that I'd better go straight back to the base. I pushed my luck big time on that one. I was out of smokes and told him I had to stop at the liqueur store on the corner for smokes. He told me that if I come out of that store with anything in my hand other than a pack of smokes, I was goin' to jail. I got my smokes and walked out, flashed 'em to him (He was sittin' in the parkin' lot waiting for me. Followed me back to the gate and made a quick U-Turn just before we got there. The Shore Patrol didn't see him. So, they didn't pay any special attention to me when I came through the gate...

Now, with all the recent gang problems in town, we got cops from all over the county in town. Gotta be real careful...

Oh had my share of DWI's back in the 80's.... Weasle hitt it on the head...  I got 3 in a row in '85, '86 and the last one in '88.   I said thats it.... the last one cost me my '79 Shovelhead.. about $3300. to get out of that mess...  They took my license for 10 yrs.   It sucked,  but also it was a wake up call for me to change my lifestyle too...   I always liked beer alot!  LOL  or any other kind of liquor for that matter...

I've tried all the NA beers... the best one in my opinion is the one by Busch... Taste is good if really cold.. bout like any beer.... there all better when cold right LOL!!

I have in the past yr or so... at times drank 1 or 2 even 3 regular beers at once and no more, but I gotta watch it!    I don't want to end up being like I used to be ever again,, down and out and no ride.. LOL!

Glad that Redd asked that question. I tasted it once, did not care for it. But, that's me...

Gotta a buddy that drinks the stuff too. Same reason that Weasle said Jeff does. Works for them...

Like drinkin' decaf coffee to me. What's the point? LOL... Just makes ya piss a lot. Plus, ya gotta pay for it.
