| Got to see him about 6 weeks ago at the casino across the river in Sault. MI. Glad I did, always liked George. I also remember him as the hippy dippy weatherman on Laugh In. Nobody else could make you laugh at yourself more than George.

I really enjoyed George Carlin. His last HBO special was excellent. He was a great observer, and pointed out the obvious that most people are blind to. There will never be another Carlin............it takes a lot to make me laugh, and he was able to pull laughs out of me.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. _ A publicist for George Carlin says the legendary comedian has died of heart failure at a hospital in Santa Monica, Calif.
Jeff Abraham says Carlin went into St. John's Health Center on Sunday afternoon, complaining of chest pain.
R.I.P. George, you were one of the Greats!!!
