I can't believe it, but I just noticed this post! It's been here for 3 months.. You did a good deed there MT... I'm sure they appreciated it.... Your a good man I don't care what they say! LOL!
He passed last year and I noted it in here, there was a write up in the Dallas Morning News on Sunday that will put a little tug on your heartstrings.
I never actually met the kid, just his wife and in-laws. It was his sister in laws turn to get a 'survival package' together and send it over. I donated about 10 lbs. of smoked beef jerky in vacuum packed bags (I have other friends and a son in law I do the same thing for). We found out their tank was attacked and Ryan was gone, a week later we received a card that had already been in the mail thanking us for treats.
