The reason the self canceling turn signals stop working is that the TSSM is wired in to the sppedo sensor and uses it to measure the distance before it shuts off the blinkers. Thats how I tell if its the speedo or the sensor is bad. If the turn signal auto cancel its the speedo, if they don't its the sensor..... Thanks Steve. I figured someone that's been down that road would know something. I spent a couple hours digging through wiring schematics and got nowhere.

| Karen has a 2003 RK that the speedo will stop working from time to time. She took it to DCC last year after it first happened, they cleaned the sending unit and called it good. Since I have been watching it, it seems to only happen after the bike is hot. I also noticed the self cancelling part of the blinkers doesn't work whenever the speedo is not working. Anyone know where the blinker cancellers are located? I wonder if they have a ground in common....
