Cool Weasle...

I knew the PO had "disabled" mine. But, I didn't realize how he had done it. Mine's AFU...

Glad you got yours fixed...

You'll probably have to remove the turn-signal switch Weasle. Mine are on the pig-tail...

Ok, Weaesle, I found it...
Its in the switch housing on the right side.

The brake lever pushes it in all the time. When you squeeze the lever, it releases the button and completes the circuit to the brake light, just like Empty said.

The switch that is in the front brake handle is set up so that when you are not on the brake, the handle is pushing the button in on the switch and making it 'open'.  I would look for something that may have come loose in the assembly, or it could be the switch is going bad.

My understanding of it Weasle, the front brake light switch is in the lever/master-cylinder assembly somewhere.

I've never had a front brake light switch on this bike...

Guess your best bet is to break out the book...

started the scooter yst  noticed the brake light was on. any way after fiddling with the front brake lever and rear break pedal , i figured it was the front leaver  switch causing the problem , wiggled the lever and it went out. now where in the hell is  that switch ?? in with the kill, start ,switches or some where else ??? electrical problems drive me nuts.
