I'll have to look. I think I subscribe to that mag too...LOL...

Not sure...

And I don't doubt that it doesn't have anything to say about Shovels Preacher. Magazines aren't saying a lot anymore about your "favorite" engine either. Tough gettin' anything on the EVO anymore...LMAO!!!

Most of the info comin' out is about the Twinkie...

Hey:
New HotBike mag has a LARGE special section on Exhaust systems and some tech articles to go along with it.
Didnt read it, none of those things fit a shovel, dont know if they reference breathers or not.

Just skimmed through it again looking for mention of anything related to the exhaust system. I didn't see anything...

I didn't read lookin' for that Marc. Only had a few minutes this morning (in the bathroom before my shower, if ya know what I mean) I've got it here with me at work. If I get a chance later, I'll look through it a little more...

Thanx...I have not picked up the March issue yet...Just out of curiosity does he get into the effects of the increased air flow on restrictive or open exhaust systems?

We had a discussion here awhile back about air filters and what flows and what don't. If ya look at the March 2008 copy of American Iron Magazine, Donny Peterson lays it all out pretty good. There are a few tables talking about CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) of the various filter by their manufacturers.

He mentions that its hard to compare the specs (since they all come from different sources) without a flow-bench.

But, he does a good job of explaining the flow characteristics of the S&S "Tear-Drop" filter housing. That was something that if I remember right, Weasle had a question about. Check it out, its a pretty good article...
