Ok now, Steve, Jeff and me all agree. He's gotta be talkin' about engine oil in his primary.
Is that what's goin' on Weasle? LOL...

Dave........When I hear oil in the transmission I assume they mean the primary , alot of guys around here refer to the primary has part of the trans.........Engine oil in the actual trans would be a first.............. Ok, I sorta understand that.
But, engine oil in the trans would be really weird... Prior to the TC's the trannys and motors were still seperated only connected by linkage... Would be impossible seems to me for that year to have engine oil in the tranny, I'm with Steve I think the guy is referring to his primary oil,,, JMO

I can see what Steve is saying. Pretty easy to correct. But, the engine and trans are separated by the primary. How in the heck he's getting engine oil in his transmission is a real good question...
Wouldn't he have to have a couple of seals leaking really bad?
One behind the compensator and also the transmission main seal?
What's his primary fluid look like?

| Weasle....if he's get engine oil in the primary that pinion seal is leaking with out a doubt. Its a pretty common problem but not a hard one to fix. You just have to take the compensator, primary chain, rotor and stator off. In most cases you can leave the inner primary on..................
